Goyenda Gargi Samagra By Tapan Bandyopadhyay

Tapan Bandyopadhyay (তপন বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়) was born as an East Bengal refugee during 1947. He earned a first class degree in Pure Mathematics. He began his literary career as a poet but gained recognition as a short story writer and novelist.

Gargi Mukherjee is his well-known creation. She is a third-year Math honors student with a personality that is significantly different from her other same age companions. She has been fascinated with detective stories since childhood and is constantly looking for ways to be involved in any issue. She judges everything with a sharp mind and a distinct point of view. All mysteries are gradually exposed to her.
